Squalomix プロジェクト

 

当研究室では、軟骨魚類について、ゲノム情報をはじめとする分子レベルの包括的な情報を読み取り(オミクス)、生物学的な研究に活用するための取り組み(Squalomixプロジェクト)を水族館等と連携して進めています。このプロジェクトは、多様な生物のゲノム情報の解読の動きを束ねる世界規模の取り組みであるEBP(Earth Biogenome Project)に加盟しています。初期の活動については、板鰓類研究会会報第57号(2021年12月発行)に掲載された記事で紹介しています。
